WATER BOTTLES

Every camper needs to bring their own water bottle. Water stations around camp are available to refill their bottles in various locations. We no longer give cups at every station.

MEDICATIONS

If your child needs medications while they attend camp, they need to be given, each day, to the nurse in a pharmaceutical bottle with dosage on the bottle. The Nurse must also hold on to and help administer medications that need to be given to overnight campers.

LOST AND FOUND

Please label everything. Jump-In NW will keep lost and found items for one week after camp. After one week lost and found will be donated to a local charity. Campers are responsible for their own personal belongings.

SNACK SHACK

Snack Shack will be open to purchase sodas, smoothies, candy bars, popcorn and more. This is optional. Each group will have the chance to visit the snack shack during the day. Purchases range from $1-$5. Snack Shack does not bring in a profit to the camp. This is a fun part of the day the kids love to take part in. (No free snacks will be given between meals.) You may purchase a pre-paid snack card at check out and pay with a debit or credit card to avoid sending cash with your child each day.

SWIMMING

Canby Grove has a very fun very large swimming pool that campers will have the opportunity to enjoy each day. Pool safety is a priority at Canby Grove. Please specify on the registration form how well your camper can swim and if he or she requires a life jacket. Life Guards are always on duty during the specified swim times.

In addition, confirm with the registrar your camper’s swimming ability when checking in on the first day of camp.  Canby Grove has a limited number of life jackets and sizes. We recommend providing your camper with a personal, labeled life jacket to assure a good fit should he or she require one.

WHAT TO BRING

Please Label Everything:
Back Pack
Bible and Notebook
Swimsuit and Towel
Water Bottle
Sun Screen
Bug Spray
Closed toe running shoes
Flip flops for pool if desired
Camera

Overnight kids also need:
Sleeping bag, pillow and toiletries

No Cell Phone Use During Camp. If we see a child with their phone we will take the Phone and put it in a secure place until pick-up. If your child would like to call you a head leaderdship team member and your child will call you together. This helps us foster a screen-free environment at camp and keeps campers from sharing information on phones that should not be shared.

No drugs, firearms, knives or fireworks

We recommend clothes that can get stained. Dirt will be a part of our day, paint and glue will be a part of art and crafts if they choose to take part in them. Shoes in
which your camper can run easily are recommended. Flip-flops do not work as well at camp and often end
up breaking.

Be cautious what you send to camp with your child. JumpIn is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

KEEPING CAMP COSTS DOWN

So that camp costs are not raised we are no longer able to include t-shirts in the price of camp. T-shirts can be added to the shopping cart for a cost of $12 each. Orders must be received by June 13, 2025.

JUMP-IN

Jump-In is a non-denominational Christian-based camp. Club meetings are offered every day where kids will learn Bible stories and concepts, interactive songs and prayer.
